Nitty Gritty’s unique Capstan Record Drive automatically rotates the record during fluid application and vacuum suction-eliminating the need to manually scrub the record. The vacuum strip fibers scrub the record at the same time it’s being rotated and vacuumed. Neat and simple. A slide-out waste tray on the bottom allows easy spent fluid disposal. With these automatic features, you’ll be able to clean more records in less time than with the Model 1.0!
The "Fi" stands for "fluid injection." Here's how the fluid injection system works: When you depress the pump, the machine automatically applies cleaning fluid across the record surface. Next, a microfiber-covered strip deep-cleans the grooves while the vacuum strip sucks the debris and polluted fluid away. A slide-out waste tray on the bottom allows easy spent fluid disposal. The 1.5Fi features black oak vinyl cabinet sides; the 2.5Fi has solid oak wood sides. Both the 1.5Fi and 2.5Fi cleaning packages come with cleaning machine, Nitty Gritty record cleaning solution, fluid applicator brush, and clear instructions.
